Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the many forms of arthritis. In this disease your immune system starts attacking your own body cells thus causing severe body pain, damage to the joints, and weakening of muscles. Doctors say there is no cure for this disease. Only the severity of pain and damage to the joints and muscles can be controlled to a certain extent with the use of medicines and infusion. The research is still on to find out the cause of this disease. Still, it's an unsolved mystery why our own immune system starts attacking our own body cells. Why our immune system gets confused between foreign body and cells of our own body. I was thinking about this puzzle since a long time. One day a thought dawned to me. If we see around us, most of the Rheumatoid arthritis patients will tell you that they got this disease during a certain period of their life when they were going through a stress, grief, or any other hard time or difficult phase of their life, and they were pushing themselves very hard to survive through that phase. Let's take the example of a machine. Let's say it's about our washing machine. If we load too many clothes in washing machine, then sometimes washer drum stops spinning.  Then we have to take out few clothes out to make it easier for the washer drum to spin the load. However, when it comes to humans, we are not that kind to ourselves. We keep pushing ourselves far beyond our capacity. When we do not stop pushing ourselves then our body comes out with its own plan to stop us. I think when we push ourselves too hard then our immune system starts thinking that now we have become our own enemy and then it starts attacking our own healthy body cells. And no doubt after our immune system starts attacking us we stop pushing ourselves. So, what is the solutions to calm down our overactive immune system. I guess plenty of sleep, proper rest, less inflammatory food, and stop taking sugar and keep an eye on hidden sugars. Less or no intake of sugar helps considerably to reduce inflammation and stiffness in Rheumatoid arthritis.
